Intellectual dishonesty

I did more than one hundred maps with simplemind ipad and win xp. Then i needed to transfer them into a more complex software for adding bibliography and so on. So i tried all different exports and no way to export all the information.
So i wrote nicely to the developer who stated that it was the fault of freemind. Unfortunetly i tried with other software and freemind export works perfectly. I wrote again to the dev who answered that he purposefully locked the export not to use other desktop software than his own software
It is a shame because he does not mention that and this kind of behavior has not its place here
