SimpleMind Pro - Mind Mapping App Reviews

This is my FAVORITE app! I love being able to take notes that I can sort and separate by color or in boxes. It helps me relay info and use info I have gathered quickly in a conference or teaching environment. I can then print individual sections of my notes, or share with others as a PDF. This is the ONLY way to take great notes and to organize creative writing concepts for me!

Using this tool has allowed me to increase my productivity in generating of ideas for project planning, writing, preparing for exams etc. Easy to use and like being able to use DropBox to save and access files.

Great app, simple, fast, elegant

This app is great and easy to learn how to use! Helps the brainstorming process and great for documenting project/program ideas down during meetings. Highly recommend for web design projects, organization design projects, work flow projects, or find your own utility for this app.

Ive tried several mind napping applications, and find this to be very easy to use. It also lets you position topics well, so it makes the most sense to you. It has helped me to sort out many thoughts and information, and Im sure it will do the same for you.

This is one of my favorite application. I bought and installed one on my phone, one on ipad, one on my desktop. With dropbox all my files are in sync across the platform. Love it love it love it! A very user friendly, simple and intuitive mind-mapping software. It is much more versatile than some of much more expensive mind-mapping software I bought before!

SimpleMind has a nice and intuitive UI. I have a few mind mapping apps and this one is the fastest and most intuitive to use. Im hoping that in the future well be able to import documents to add to mind maps. My other apps are more feature rich with bells and whistles but, theyre also more complicated and slower to use. When I mind map I like to get my thoughts down fast so that I dont forget anything. SimpleMind is well worth the investment!

There is no way to choose an export format. Please, fix it.

Easy to use, has customizable colors and lines, and able to be stored in Dropbox :) I wish you could use images like on the desktop version. Otherwise no suggestions for improvement, its really a great app.

If you were the type of person that has difficult getting them ideas together, this is a wonderful tool. The pro version which I purchased gives you the options to input webpages and snapshots so you can gather ideas quickly about subjects/topics and plot them. The branches help you see clearly where your idea came from and a topic it should stick to.

Easy to use, lots of utility.

I am going to use this for medical education and medical research to create large diagrams that tie together the basic sciences, patient signs and symptoms, pharmacology administration, and care processes including errors in the delivery of care.

The new upgrade to make it synchronize with Dropbox just made it more difficult and complicated to operate. I wish I can get a refund of the paid version I upgraded to.

Not stated in description that I need to purchase a pro version on desktop before synchronization is allowed.

Easy, useful, quick, intuitive.

Honestly, I wonder about people at times (referring to the negative reviews here). I dont think people read before they get all emotional. Im using the Simplemind Pro version on iPad and iPhone, and synchronization via Dropbox is completely seamless and rock solid. I dont use the desktop version yet but I will likely acquire it. That said, Ive been using mind maps since the mid 2000s. I have found Simplemind Pro for IOS to be totally intuitive, simple to use (I didnt even read the instructions and it still makes sense), and extremely feature rich. Each incremental upgrade just gets better and better! I created my first Mindmap in about ten minutes and had a completed org chart with six branches on it and about 40 names. This is a seriously impressive app! Thanks to the developers for creating such a useful business tool!

Ive used several mind-mapping apps, and they all have their strong points, but I find myself using SimpleMind more. Its easy to use but also more sophisticated, and it gives me great control over the design.
